FIFA World Cup 2014: Germany have a blockbuster 100th World Cup game; beat Portugal 4-0


Thomas Mueller scored a hat trick as Germany turned on its style and a dominant 4-0 win over 10-man Portugal in their World Cup Group G opener on Monday.

Thomas Muller's hattrick is the 49th in the history of World Cup. He now has 20 goals in 50 matches. Germany off to the perfect start in the tournament.

Mueller, who scored five goals in the 2010 World Cup, was ruthless against a weak Portugal team that was clearly outplayed despite the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo.
